[edit] Info conflict
The following text was on the disambiguation page (and was removed), which contradicts the information here. I'm not Canadian; I don't know anything about this. Is there anyone who can fix this issue? Thanks. Neonumbers 11:12, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- In Canada the District of Franklin was a district of the Northwest Territories, consisting of some of the Arctic islands: Banks and Prince Patrick Islands, and parts of Victoria and Melville Islands, and some smaller islands. It was named after the Arctic explorer, John Franklin. There is also a Fort Franklin, Northwest Territories.
- That doesn't gell with any NWT geography I'm familiar with, so let's leave it removed. Radagast 20:45, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
