'Man, defining a word is a hard thing when you are doing it without using the referrences that you use later on in the article. Truthfully, of course, I don't know whether the article should even start out with the definition of the word, considering that it is, after all, a encyclopedia entry. Were any of the articles that it refers to more substantial, it'd make sense for there to be a disambiguation, but for now I think that having the more common aspects of use in music and as the goddess in the main body of the article and the others in the "other uses" section makes the most sense.
I ended up removing most of the insubstantiated material in the band-related sections (about whom citations, referrences, and proof of their continued existence would be better served to be put in articles of their own if someone views that as necessary, instead of simply piggybacking this article) in favor of the more mainstream uses of the word, in mythology and music.
The fact that the "alternative and punk" band is actually spelled "Dischord" also seems to indicate to me that it doesn't belong in this article, but I suppose that that's no worse than the other band's presence, so I just made the section link to the "alternative and punk" band's actual article.
