[edit] Deity of the minute?

In a similar way to how the portal has Article/Book/Character of the Day boxes, I was thinking of doing a "God of the Minute" box (with the aid of the CURRENTMINUTE magic word). There would be sixty brief (couple of lines) subpages on minor gods, who will never get their own article. If sixty seems too many, it could be done with 30 or 20 or even 15. The idea is to coeebrate the vast number of minor gods of weird and wonderful things mentioned in Discworld. (Such as Errata, The Goddess of Misunderstandings and Libertina, The Goddess of the Sea, Apple Pie, Certain Types of Ice Cream and Short Lengths of String) Tompw (talk) 21:32, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

I think it's sad that you can't immediately know which was the latest novel to come out, which will come out next and when. That's the main information one would expect on the DW portal, really. Jules.LT 08:39, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] deleted character pages

I just noticed there were a few discworld character pages that were deleted. I think this is just silly even with minor characters (eg. Banjo Lilywhite) why couldn't they just be intergrated into the Discworld characters page? I did check btw & they haven't been. Also I'd just like to say I think Jules.LT's idea is a good one & its definitely something that should be looked into... --Samhed (talk) 00:31, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
