Disposable Teens is the first single from Marilyn Manson's fourth studio album Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death). The chorus borrows lyrically from the Beatles song, "Revolution." Leading up the final chorus, a synth guitar with flanging effects can be heard similar to that of The Beatles' song, as well. The lyrics describe the irony of teen rebellion in that teenagers who act violently in retaliation against parental and social authority eventually sell themselves out to adulthood and become the very authority they were revolting against, a theme that is very similar to Rebel Without A Cause. This is explained in the chorus: "You say you want a revolution, man, and I say that you're full of shit." The song borrows a quote from George Orwell's book 1984, "Rebel from the waist down."
- The song is featured in Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 during the opening credits.
- Dale Oliver composed a remix of the song which TNA Wrestling used as the entrance theme of Christopher Daniels.
- Black Rainbow covered the song and released it on their 2007 album "God Is Shit".
