Disney Movie Rewards is a customer loyalty marketing campaign from Disney DVD, part of the Walt Disney Company. Customers enter codes from DVD or send in movie ticket stubs. These codes are converted into virtual "points" which can in turn be redeemed for various prizes.[1]
The program was first launched in 2006. The current phase of the promotion began on 2006-10-16. The program has been recently extended until 2009-02-28.

[edit] Methods of earning points
Disney has four ways of earning points:
- Entering points from eligible Disney DVD releases usually for 100 points for a regular Disney DVD and 125 for a Blu-ray Disc and can go as high as 200 for regular and 225 for Disney Blue-ray disc.
- Mailing movie ticket stub/s from eligible Disney Movies showing in theaters usually for 50 points.
- Taking a survey once to earn 100 points.
- Refer a friend by e-mail about Disney Movie Rewards and earning 20 point for every one who signs up but, only up to 200 points.

Rewards range from Peter Pan Temporary tattoos for 150 points to a Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End themed limited edition guitar for 13,000 points. The categories of items are apparel & accessories, books & magazines, collectibles, DVD, electronics, enchanted call, experiences, games, music, party accessories, pins, posters and tickets and other items. For 1,000 points members can get 25% savings at Southwest.com. TV and DVD combos are available for 3,700 points with characters including Beauty and the Beast, Tinker Bell, Pirates of the Caribbean and Lightning McQueen for 3,800 points.

Currently Sweepstakes from the movie The Jungle Book, High School Musical 2 and Ratatouille. Jungle Book has a sweepstakes where the grand prize is a trip to Costa Rica. High School Musical 2 has a sweepstakes where the grand prize is a private screening of High School Musical 3. A trip to France is the grand prize for the sweepstakes of Ratatouille. A code from the movie on DVD is required to enter each movie's sweepstakes.
