Disney Channel Middle East is an edition of the The Walt Disney Company-owned Disney Channel broadcasting to the Middle East and North Africa. It is advertising-free and funded by subscription fees.

Disney Channel Middle East was launched in April 2, 1997 and was then exclusively available through the Orbit Network. Later, it became available on Showtime Arabia.
Disney Channel Middle East was available in the English only during launch. On April 1, 1998, Orbit Network launched the Arabic service on Disney Channel. Then, on April 16, 2007, Orbit Network launched the Swedish language service on Disney Channel. Now, Disney Channel is an encrypted channel available over the Orbit Network and Showtime Arabia in the English, Arabic and Swedish language.

Most of the non-live-action content is dubbed into Arabic and Swedish with separate audio streams being available. In addition, subtitles are carried for live-action programs like Phil of the Future, Hannah Montana... The channel's programing includes:

Playhouse Disney Morning block includes the following programs: My Friends Tigger and Pooh, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,JoJo's Circus, Stanley, Little Einsteins, Higglytown Heroes and Bunnytown. Playhouse Disney Morning block broadcasts weekdays from 6 a.m. till 8 a.m. GMT (9 a.m. till 11 a.m. KSA)

Film Time! block show Disney Animation Movies, Disney Channel Original Movies, and non-Disney movies. Some movies show on Film Time!: The Wild, Twitches, Brother Bear,Brother Bear 2, High School Musical,High School Musical 2, The Cheetah Girls,The Cheetah Girls 2, Mary Poppins, The Fox and the Hound, Minutemen, The Emperor's New Groove, Kronk's New Groove, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Toy Story 2... Film Time! block broadcasts every Friday at 3 p.m GMT (6 p.m. KSA), Saturday and Sunday at 7 30' a.m, 1 p.m and 4 p.m GMT (10 30' a.m, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. KSA).

Disney Channel ME also broadcasts some Disney Channel events. The main event that is broadcasted is the Disney Channel Games.
