[edit] Information
Disney Channel's Hauntober Fest was aired in October, generally introducing a new original movie. October is typically the only time that Halloween-related episodes of Disney Channel shows are aired. If there is a new show that year, most of the time a new Halloween-related episode for that show will air during that year's Hauntober Fest. Every night during a Hauntober Fest, the previous Halloween-themed movies air. Marathons of halloween-related episodes usually are aired. In 2006 Disney Channel introduced an official website for the event and has had one every year since then. Each year a new logo was used. Like "So hot summer", in 2007 Hauntoberfest was replaced with a new block called Halloween Month.
[edit] Previous Names
Disney Channel's previous Halloween-themed specials operated under the names of "A Disney Halloween" and "Disney's Halloween Treat."
[edit] Related Events
Disney Channel's sister channel, ABC Family also runs a Halloween-related marathon, 13 Nights of Halloween from October 19 to 31. 13 Nights of Halloween was originally introduced by FOX Family Channel until The Walt Disney Company bought the network. 13 of Halloween continues to run on ABC Family every October.
