[edit] About the song

While ZOEgirl have released two songs in their self-titled album (Give Me One Reason and Stop Right There) to discourage girls to pour out their hearts to bad boys, Dismissed, from their newer album Life has been the most successful song (by ZOEgirl) tackling this subject. The song's lyrics are bold, and encourages young ladies to end ("dismiss") unhealthy relationships. [2]

[edit] Smash-up

The song "Dismissed" was also released as a mash-up on the Smash-Ups CD. The vocals from "Dismissed" are combined with the music from dc Talk's Jesus Freak, giving the song a rockier edge. [3]
