Disease Models & Mechanisms (DMM) is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal. It publishes research and reviews focusing on the use of model organisms to both understand the mechanisms underlying human disease and develop novel diagnostics and therapeutics. The stated aim of the journal is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas across the basic, translational and clinical research communities. Disease Models & Mechanisms is published by The Company of Biologists, a not-for-profit publisher based in Cambridge, UK. The Editor-in-Chief is Vivian Siegel.
