[edit] Some comments
- I think you may be creating articles that should be material added to other articles instead; Wikipedia is not supposed to be a glossary or a dictionary.
- When you create a new statistics article, could you add it to the list of statistical topics?
- Don't capitalize initial letters in article titles gratuitously (e.g., I'm going to move Schwarz Criterion so that the c is in lower case).
- Initial context-setting is often needed. I've added the words "In statistics,..." to the beginnings of some of your articles. I read all the way through the first paragraph of schismatic temperament before I found out it's about music rather than about a psychiatric disorder; one should spare the reader not familiar with statistics.

[edit] Income distribution - United States
Hello. I've moved this page so that the initial "d" is lower-case, as per Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Do you know that this page is orphaned, i.e., no pages link to it? Michael Hardy 22:07, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
Might be, I was taking it from requested pages--Dirknachbar 19:45, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Richard Normand Langlois
An editor has nominated Richard Normand Langlois, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Richard Normand Langlois and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. --Eastmain 12:51, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Soulmates
A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Soulmates, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 18:55, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Institute of Advanced Studies (Vienna)
A tag has been placed on Institute of Advanced Studies (Vienna) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- WebHamster 16:35, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fatih Birol
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Fatih Birol, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.world-nuclear.org/sym/1999/birobio.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:35, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
