[edit] This makes very little sense

As she wanted to make the song "dirrtier" than it would have been, she explained in interviews that as result, she added an extra "r" to the title to make it "Dirrty" instead of the correct "Dirty".

[edit] Single in Indonesia?

I wonder how come in the list of the chart there's "Indonesia Chart" ? who enter that data? there's no cd-single sold in indonesia.. there are only albums.. I'm live in indonesia so i know that no one sells cd single here.. Please fix that data or at least give an information where did the data taken from.

It's not true, and if you really think there's no such thing like that in your country I suggest you remove it.--HW-Barnstar PLS 15:04, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure there is an Indonesian Singles Chart. Regardless, Indonesia is not a major music market, so it shouldn't be in the table, even if it can be referenced. ShadowHalo 02:16, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
isn't the indonesian chart digital sales/radio play based?Sennen goroshi 08:02, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] GA Nom

Good work on an often-overlooked genre on this site: pop music. I found a few things that need fixing, and I made a few recommendations. They're mostly minor, so I'm going to go ahead and pass this article.

  • Introduce Rockwilder as a producer in the first sentence of the body.
  • Wikilink hip pop in the second paragraph of the body.
  • I would recommend mentioning where the song was recorded.
  • "The video generated some controversy and changed the public's perception of Aguilera" - It's probably too bold to say that it changed the public's peception
  • I'm not sure that you need the charts at the bottom, since the important peaks are already mentioned in the article or the infobox template. Also, you might want to just insert the "Credits and personnel" as prose into the first section.
  • There's a few MOS problems in the citations. Stripped needs to be italicized in many of them, and a few (15, 16, 19, 25) have prepositions capitalized.

Okay, I'll see if I can implement some of those suggestions. Regarding the citations though, I think the emphasis/capitalization is supposed to remain unchanged from how it originally appears at the source. ShadowHalo 06:26, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Table Dancing

Whether table dancing is erotic or not, it certainly is not a sexual activity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ThisIsMyName (talkcontribs) 09:01, July 5, 2007 (UTC)

The article to which you linked disagrees. "Some people engage in various sexual activities as a business transaction…aspects of the adult industry include (for example) telephone sex operators, strip clubs, erotic dancers, pornography and the like." Sexual activities are not limited to only sexual intercourse. ShadowHalo 09:01, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
I understand that sexual activities aren't limited to sexual intercourse. What I don't understand is how dancing on a table, whether it be at a nightclub, bar, or at your own home, means it's a sexual activity. The term erotic dance can easily be consider an sexual activity, because it meant to incite arousal or sexual thoughts.ThisIsMyName 09:52, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Dancing on a table in itself would not necessarily be sexual. However, the point of "table dancing and sweating [one's] clothes off", as worded in the reference, is clearly sexual. Table dancing isn't supposed to be just getting on a table and dancing; it's done to titillate. ShadowHalo 16:45, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
