Dirty thirty (WWF)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There are multiple uses of the phrase dirty thirty.
The World Wildlife Fund compiled a list of the thirty most polluting electric power generating stations that they named the dirty thirty.[1][2][3] 27 of the 30 dirtiest plants are coal-fired. Five of the ten worst are in Germany.
The WWF releases an updated list every year.[2][4] In 2007 Germany and the United Kingdom each had ten of the dirtiest thirty plants.
