Directorate for Emergency Communication established 1st of April 2007, is responsible for the development of the new, digital public safety radio network (Nødnett) in Norway, and the administration of the network after completion. A common, digital communication network for emergency and public safety agencies will contribute to a safer and less vulnerable society.
