Can anyone find the pKa of diphenylmethanol? I have searched a great deal without success.

It is entirely possible that no one has ever measured and published this pKa! However, CAS lists a predicted value, calculated using Advanced Chemistry Development (ACD/Labs) Software V8.14. The calculated pKa is 13.54±0.20. Hope this helps. --Itub (talk) 16:01, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
