This article doesn't need it's own page. It is one of a thousand forms of phosphatidylcholine and not sufficiently different to warrant special mention. Anyone object if I tag for deletion? Roadnottaken 13:58, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, according to the article itself dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine is "the major constituent of pulmonary surfactant". I'd say that's an assertion of significance :) Fvasconcellos (tยทc) 14:43, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
