Dipannita Sharma (born November, 2 in Assam, India) is a model and an aspiring actress.She is an Assamese Brahmin from Upper Assam town Duliajan.
A well known model and an actress, who came into the limelight after making to the final five of the Miss India 1998 contest. She was also judged the miss photogenic in the same contest. Has also done a couple of television shows starting with Life Nahi Hai Laddoo. She made her film debut with 16 December (2002).

In 2005, Sharma was reported to be dating Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan. A year later, news surfaced that the couple had broken up. Bachchan is now married to Aishwarya.[2]
