Talk:Diosdado Macapagal International Airport
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article says CRK is planned to become the airport for Manila after NAIA (MNL) ceases to be useful; how far is it from Manila?
- If I'm correct, it should be about 85 kilometers from Manila (since the new exit to the airport is under construction), and about an hour's drive on the North Luzon Expressway. --Akira123323 03:10, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- It isn't saying it will become the airport for MANILA, It will come the new GATEWAY to the Philippines, The new Major International airport, And yes, it will be a fair drive from MNL. you can fly MNL-CRK :) - posted: tomauer. April 10th 2007

- Philippine Airlines has OFFICIALLY announced there plans on a 50mil Investment into CRK Airport, I posted this news as the airline is seeking approval for CRK (same as Cebu Pacific). and someone deleted this information, i insure whoever did it, that it is True, and if you look at the reference i posted, you will see it IS true in fact. I will place it back up. It is basically the same deal with Cebu Pacific, official, but not yet happening.. tomauer 04:26, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Future flights
If the airline does not fly yet and has not announced a precise date of starting operations, then it does not "serve" the airport. Jpatokal 02:17, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- If news about an impending commencement of operations can be quoted, then it is worthy of mention in this list, even if the exact date is not mentioned.--Huaiwei 11:50, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Space Shuttle Landing Capabilities
May I refer you to the Space Shuttle page which has link of more then a dozen sites where the space shuttle can land in normal operation and in emergency operations. Therefore, the statement said in the beginning summary is false, and will be repaired shortly.--207.114.206.48 12:21, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
