• No, she is not a "mother goddess" in any context of written myth or ritual, save as mother of Aphrodite in one ref. in the Iliad.
• "Her importance" is not in fact "attested at several cult sites of great antiquity" other than at Dodona.

I have quoted Pausanias' remarks at Acriae (Cybele, not Dione) and have tried to keep all the recent improvements. --Wetman (talk) 19:18, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
