Dionne Farris (born 1969) is a female R&B/soul musician who sang on three songs with the hip hop group Arrested Development.[1] In 1995, she had a hit solo single called "I Know," which hit number four on the Billboard Hot 100, and in 1997, she had another called "Hopeless" (written by Van Hunt) from the Love Jones soundtrack.

On April 8, 1995, she was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, season 20 episode 17, where Damon Wayans was the guest host. She also sang the closing song "For Once In My Life" in the 1996 film The Truth About Cats & Dogs.

She is currently working on a new album titled "Signs of Life" under the management of Matthew Knowles.[citation needed]

Her newest album "For Truth If Not Love" was released 2007. It features "Stuck in the Middle".
