From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Diomedes, king of Thrace, was a giant, and son of Ares and Cyrene.[1] He lived on the shores of the Black Sea ruling the warlike tribe of Bistones.[2][3] He is known for his four man-eating horses[4], which Heracles stole in order to complete the eighth of his Twelve Labours, slaying Diomedes in the process.[5]
