Diogo de Silves

Diogo de Silves, (15th century) was a Portuguese explorer of the Atlantic, discoverer of the Azores islands, before returning for his journey to Madeira in 1427. He's only known from a reference in a chart by Gabriel de Valsequa, dated from 1439.
