The Mar Thoma Syrian Church in North America was established in 1972 in Yonkers, New York. The Mar Thoma Community was also created in Europe in the 1960's in London. Currently there is 54 parishes and 23 congregations in the Diocese. Many parishes are located across the country such as New York, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Toronto and London. Currently the head of the Diocese of North America & Europe is the Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos. The Diocese also started a Mar Thoma Family Conference for all parishes and congregations in the United States and Canada. The 25th Family Conference was held in Toronto, Canada, and the 2009 Family Conference will be held in San Francisco, California. More information will follow soon...
