Diocese of My Tho

The diocese of My Tho (Latin, Dioecesis Mythoensis) is a Roman Catholic diocese in southern Vietnam. The bishop is Paul Bùi Van Ðoc, since 1999.

The creation of the diocese in present form was decalared November 24, 1960.

The diocese covers an area of 9,262 km², and is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh city.

By 2004, the diocese of My Tho had about 111,454 believers (2.6% of the population), 82 priests and 63 parishes.[1]

Immaculate Conception Cathedral in My Tho town has been assigned as the Cathedral of the diocese.[2]
