A diocese in the Church of England Province of York covering the extreme west of Yorkshire.
The see is in the City of Bradford, West Yorkshire where the seat is located at the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter.
The diocese was created in 1920 under King George V from part of the Diocese of Ripon.
The church of Saint Peter was elevated to cathedral status in 1919.
