[edit] Really unlikeley
The Deinonychus life restoration by Jhon Conway(see right) is purely fake. That is, it looks like it has Flight Feathers! It also looks like a penguin with a Deinonychus head and neck and a relatively long tail.
[edit] This should be added
The picture of Deinonychus (the orange one) on the page Deinonychus in the spanish version should be added to the english version of the page Deinonychus.
[edit] So cute!
The rooster at left is ADORABLE!!!
[edit] A question
Hello, Dinokid;
From the articles you've been starting, I'm not sure that you understand what a Wikipedia article should be. Classification of dinosaurs(Kid) uses genera, subfamilies, and families that don't exist, is poorly formatted, and contradicts itself, with Omnivoridae in one diagram and Staurikosauridae, including Omnivorosaurus as a synonym of Staurikosaurus and not including Didontimorphus, in another. Similarly, Chinese dinosaurs is about a film that doesn't appear to exist, refers to a book that also doesn't appear to exist, directs us to a non-linked page that doesn't exist (and probably won't exist for some time, since WP:DINO has decided to organize dinosaurs by landmasses and not modern political geography), and uses as its only reference a webpage that has almost nothing on it. I'm going to guess that this is either a personal project or something a friend is working on, but at this time it has no notability and no references. You've obviously got interest and a knowledge background on dinosaurs, so why don't you look at the articles that are already here and get a stronger feel for how article writing works and what the encyclopedia needs, instead of writing articles that will be deleted for lacking references and notability and for being original research? J. Spencer 01:03, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Answer for "A question"
Those families, subfamilies and genera do not exist because I'M TRYING TO MAKE A NEW CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM HERE, BUSTER! I will make that book and, eventually, the film. Did I forget to mention that the book and the film will be made in the future? Well, I already thought of what's going to happen in the film and the book. Didontomorphus is a synonym for Eoraptor
- That's all well and good, and I wish you the best of luck (I've been working on getting material from my thesis published for months), but they don't belong on Wikipedia until they're officially published. See Wikipedia:no original research for guidelines. J. Spencer 01:34, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD Nomination: Chinese dinosaurs
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Chinese dinosaurs meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.
Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chinese dinosaurs. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.
Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Deor 15:29, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Alien Life (Film)
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Alien Life (Film), by Discospinster (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Alien Life (Film) fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Alien Life (Film), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 02:44, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Sock
A tag has been placed on The Sock, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Flyguy649talkcontribs 03:05, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] I'll murder that stupid eukaryote if it kills me!
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article I'll murder that stupid eukaryote if it kills me!, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] AfD nomination of I'll murder that stupid eukaryote if it kills me!
I've nominated I'll murder that stupid eukaryote if it kills me!, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that I'll murder that stupid eukaryote if it kills me! satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I'll murder that stupid eukaryote if it kills me! and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of I'll murder that stupid eukaryote if it kills me! during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Flyguy649talkcontribs 03:49, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Eternal Mothra.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Eternal Mothra.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

[edit] Fudgeington highways
A tag has been placed on Fudgeington highways, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}

[edit] A warning about adding innapropiate links
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Michael Valladares. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Pants(T) 03:36, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Talking of Gnathostomata, can you supply citations for the classification you added in the taxobox? I mean, the additional ranks between infraphylum and superclass. I wouldn't like to see it get deleted, because one of my long-term concerns is getting a coherent, cladistic taxonomy in use on Wikipedia, and the scheme that you inserted would very nicely complete the classifications and tables of ranks on other articles too. But only if we know the source. Gnostrat (talk) 16:16, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
