[edit] about me

Well, I guess it's about time to cease being completely faceless. I made my first username-d edit on May 6th, 2005 which seems like forever ago but isn't really in wikipedia-land. Before that I made several anon edits with a dynamic IP from my ISP, but i have no idea how long ago or how many (i can barely remember how this sentence started).

I realize this page is horrible and I don't care because it's obviously about an unencylcopedic subject, namely me.

I'm currently working on spell/vandal checking all of the pages in the "Allpages" category that contains my username. Basically that means that I first copy the entire article into Word and check for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and inconsistencies between the various types of English. Then I read the article for coherence and style as well as spelling errors that the average spell-checker would miss (I tend to be pretty good at picking these out). Finally I check any anon edits and read the user pages of registered users whose names I do not recognize. If a page is a redirect, I check to see what links there for disambiguation purposes. If a page is a disambiguation page, I try to connect up any pages that link there with their proper homes.

i'm to "Dingley Act"
