DINESH AKULA is a broadcast journalist working with STAR NEWS in Andhra Pradesh - a southern state of India. He is in media for the last 14 years comprising 9 years in english national newspapers and for last 5 years in television news.

He was recently ( 2007) in UK for Chevening scholarship and has work experience with SKY SPORTS NEWS in London and BBC in Bristol.

During his career in media - he worked extensively on child marriages and its taboo - women development in rural India, broke the story on Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi's cash of MLAs story in Raipur ( 2003). his other main stories are mercy killing story in Hyderabad and tracing a lone child survivor in air force colony after tsunami disaster at Andaman.
