Dinsoor

Dinsoor[1] is a town in Somalia. It was founded 1805 when a group of nomadic people found a water well near Moon (a mountain) area called Bug. Diinsoor is the second largest city in Bay, the largest province in Somalia situated in the south western part of the country. It has a two local airports called Karkaa Teegoy and Oofka Aan. The city is the centre of the business and trade in the region. Dinsor is the only District in Bay region which has borders to all the Districts in Bay region.

The residents of the city 85% is a Somali clan called Dabarre. Dabarre speaks Mee language, different from Maay language, and 12% is geeledle,5% is cormale,3% is ajuuraan, and there also a lot of minority different ethnic tribes in this region, like Tumaal,Tunni and Riiba, also they speak different language.
