Dinner and a Movie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dinner and a Movie is a cooking and entertainment television program produced in the U.S. by TBS since 1995.
Each episode includes a movie and the preparation of a creative dinner to go with some theme of the movie, generally via a pun. For example, an episode showing Drumline features a recipe titled "The Beets Go On", referencing the Sonny and Cher single "The Beat Goes On", as well as the plot of the movie about a drummer who tries to fit in with a new marching band.
As of 2005, the current hosts are chef Claud Mann and comedians Paul Gilmartin and Janet Varney. Janet's position was previously filled by Annabelle Gurwitch (1996-2002) and Lisa Kushell (2002-2005).
