From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ding Dong School was a half-hour children's TV show which aired on NBC on weekdays from November 1952 to 1956, and on WMAQ-TV a few months earlier. It was similar to Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and was hosted by Dr. Frances Horwich, known as Miss Frances. It originated from the WMAQ-TV studios in Chicago, Illinois. The show was broadcast live, and at one point was the most popular TV series aimed at pre-schoolers.
