Dinas Rhondda

Dinas Rhondda is a village near Tonypandy in Rhondda Cynon Taff, South Wales.
Dinas Rhondda was the site of the first deep coal mine in the Rhondda valley, dug by Walter Coffin in 1811, on the opposite bank of the river Rhondda across from Dinas Rhondda railway station.
