2006, 30 August - World Day of Animated cartoon, the 100-anniversary of the output of the first cartoons.

Our site is the representative of the initiators of new holiday. We completely for this INITIATIVE (we vote "after!") officially to introduce and to yearly note this date. In the program of holiday they are assumed: congratulation and our enormous appreciation to people worked and working in the sphere of animated cartoon (animation); competitions, gifts, THE FREE demonstrations of the best cartoons in the cinemas, and much other. In 2005 the holiday was noted thus far unofficially. During October 2005 the claim was approved by the management of Federal agency on culture and cinematography of Russia. During November is made positive decision by the Ministry of culture and mass communications of Russia. Now the support of the Union of cameramen of Russia is required on established practice of the introduction of holidays.
