Talk:Dimitri Nanopoulos
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I find it a little odd that User:Phys would challenge the accuracy of this page without explanation.
If you check the history, you will find that the page has previously been edited by Professor Cleaver, one of the leading experts in the field. What does User:Phys know that Professor Cleaver does not?

[edit] "The fourth most cited scientist in history"?
This is based on a misinterpretation of the H index (physics). H index is computed against a database, but databases carry only current publications, or - at best - publications going several decades back. So D.N. isn't and can't be "the fourth most cited scientist in history", unless history started in 1970. GregorB 20:49, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Neutrality and accuracy restoration
Following discussion and recent edits, I see no reason for this page to continue to carry warnings over lack of neutrality and accuracy. Robma 11:40, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Revert
I reverted the chaged made by Huego because it was a copyright violation. It was taken from a site [1] which clearly has a copyright at the bottom of the page. Tartan 20:43, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Hello, please see my talk page as the article is not in fact from the link you suggested, and the wording is slightly different all the way through: http://www.mlahanas.de/Greeks/new/Nanopoulos.htm Huego
- I have replied, but I would like to point out to you that site's disclaimer. [2] Tartan 21:02, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
OK, you have a point with that disclaimer. I will try and re-word the whole article again.

- Thank you. If possible try to deviate from the original as much as you can, making the wikipedia article not sound too much like it. Tartan 21:09, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
"He has also unified superstring theory with the science of the human mind, with his Quantum Liouville theory of brain microtubules" I would drop this sentence: his theories on human mind are not widely accepted by the scientific community. Cheers, Riccardo
[edit] name
his name is Dimitris or if you prefer Dimitrios. i dont really understand why we have to call him dimitri. Convenience instead of accuracy?
