There is no reason to change the birth date into 21 February, because that is obviously an Old Style (Julian Calendar) date (that being the calendar commonly used in the Russian Empire at the time), and corresponds to March 3 New Style Gregorian. I have no idea why he wanted people to believe he was born in Tartu/Dorpat/Derpt/Yuryev rather than Riga. --Paul Pieniezny (talk) 20:23, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
