Dimitrios Spanoulis (or alternate spelling, Dimitris) (born January 1, 1979, in Larissa, Greece) is a Greek professional basketball player. He is 6'3 3/4" (1.92 m) in height and plays both the point guard and shooting guard positions on the basketball court. He currently plays in the Greek A League second division, the A2 Ethniki.

He started his career playing for Gymnastikos S. Larissas in the 2001-2002 season. He later transferred to several teams including: Makedonikos BC, Xanthi BC, and to his current team, MENT BC.
He was the A2 Ethniki MVP in the 2003-2004 season. Spanoulis reached the ULEB Cup championship game with Makedonikos during the 2004-2005 season. Dimitris led the A2 Ethniki in scoring average with Xanthi BC during the 2006-2007 season, with a scoring average of 27.4 points per game. As a result, he was voted to the A2 Ethniki All-Domestic Team, the League First Team, and he was named the league's Domestic Player of the Year, Guard of the Year, and MVP.[1]

Dimitris is the elder brother of fellow Greek basketball star Vassilis Spanoulis [2], a member of the Greek National Team, who currently plays for Panathinaikos BC and formerly played for the NBA's Houston Rockets. Dimitris competed against Vasileios in the ULEB Cup competition in 2005 when he played for Makedonikos BC and his younger brother Vasileios played for Maroussi BC. In European basketball the two are nicknamed "The Spanoulis Brothers".[3]
