Dimitrios Petsos is a Greek politician. He is a former mayor of Goumenissa.

Born in Goumenissa,1946. His parents were Vasiliki and Theodoros Petsos.

Took part in four municipal elections, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002.He won the two from the second round, those of October 1994 with 52,8% and October 2002 with 50,96% backed up by PASOK.

In the elections of 1990 did not have the official support of PASOK and descended as independent. He went to the second round very easy to face unsuccessfully the independent Dimitrios Pakos that also in these elections, did not have the official support of New Democracy (he had it in the elections of 1986). In the other three elections faced Vasilios Patsis (brother in law of former Mayor Dimitrios Pakos) and overcame the two.
