Dimitrije Popović

Dimitrije Popović (born March 4, 1951 in Cetinje) is a Montenegrin painter and writer.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia where he lives and works. He has had 58 independent showcases domestically and internationally. Some of these exhibitions have been located in Cetinje, Zagreb, Geneva, Rijeka, Milan and Rome. He also wrote for Slobodna Dalmacija, Vjesnik and Večernji list in the 1990s, as well as publishing several books.

Some of his inspirations are Salvador Dalí, Michelangelo and Ivan Meštrović.
