[edit] Residents

There should be a list of famous residents such as Tony Rice, Paul Hornung, and Bill Laimbeer.--Cliedl 04:43, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cheers

Wasn't George Wendt a Dillon man?

[edit] Traditions

Ought to flesh out some of the other Dillon traditions like the Big Red Light Saber, Pep Rally, Javelina, etc.134.226.1.234 02:45, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

There was a large section on the history of Princess the Javelina that I removed. It was totally unsourced and, although the story may be interesting to some, was unencyclopedic. The pep rally is mentioned in the article and probably could be "fleshed out" a little. Other random traditions don't really need to be mentioned, they can't be referenced from secondary sources and aren't encyclopedic. Phydend 15:56, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
What is this Big Red Light Saber you speak of? I lived there for 3 years and I don't remember it at all.Fuhreeus 16:47, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
I was wondering that myself. My only thought was that it was a lightsaber someone stole from a burger king (I think they had a Star Wars promotion for Revenge of the Sith, I'd only heard rumors after the fact) and brought it along to the USC pep rally (in the stadium) in 2005 to hit a picture of Pete Carroll. I'm not sure if it was used again after that (maybe it was used for pep rallies again, but I didn't go to any this year). However, that's my only thought. Either way it probably doesn't deserve a mention in the article. Phydend 16:58, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Who wants to post the lyrics to the Dillon Hall fight song? ;-)
