Diktatūra (meaning "The dictatorship") is neo-nazi metal band from Lithuania. Lyrical topics include fatherland, honor, war, patriotism and Lithuanian tradition, although some songs are not related to these subjects.

[edit] History
The band formed in the mid 1990s, and at first played radical right wing songs, some of which had lyrics alleged to be Nazi or racist, especially about Jews or black people (well known exaples are songs like "Negrą užpulk" ("Attack the Negro") or "Juden Raus!" ("Jews Out!")); some were about football hooligans and skinheads. The first members had pseudonyms: Slibinas (Dragon), Kaminas (Chimney) and Indėnas (Indian). The band with these members recorded two albums, "Metas" and "TvarkOi!" (1996 and 1997). The third album was recorded by four musicians, of which only Slibinas remained from the first lineup. Eventually their song lyrics became less radical; mostly about patriotism, war, honour, traditions and culture. Some songs, especially from the album Kitokios Dainos (released in 2003), are not related to these subjects. The local Lithuanian Blood-and-Honour brigade continues to revere them as 'the most national-socialist band in Lithuania'.
