[edit] Epygi Technologies
Epygi Technologies designs, manufactures and distributes globally feature-rich IP PBXs, voice over IP gateways and conference servers with the product name Quadro. Epygi's Quadro IP PBX appliances have been designed to serve the SMB and SOHO markets along with enterprise teleworkers and companies with many small branch offices of varying sizes.
Founded in 2000, the privately held company employs more than 125 engineering, administrative and marketing professionals and makes its headquarters in Plano, Texas, a municipality in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Epygi conducts R&D, product design and software development in Yerevan, Armenia. The organization has sales offices throughout Europe and the continents of Africa, Australia, North America and South America.
Using its own Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) technology and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software, Epygi combines telecommunications network knowledge with emerging computer telephony protocols to deliver robust voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) utility.
Epygi markets its products through a worldwide network of distributors and resellers. Quadro IP PBXs currently operate in more than forty countries on six continents and in more than forty companies on six continents.

IP PBXs
Quadro 2X
The Quadro 2x was designed and priced for small offices or self-sufficient branches with as many as 18 individuals. The connection to the traditional phone network allows use of fax machines, retail point of sale or emergencies. It is possible to make up to ten simultaneous IP calls (as many as four through a VPN tunnel) in addition to the PSTN line.

Trad phone ports-1; Ethernet LAN ports-1; Ethernet WAN ports-1
Quadro 2xi
The Quadro 2xi substitutes an ISDN high-speed, high-bandwidth connection for the regular phone port. An ISDN line offers a step up in WAN performance over DSL connections and the ISDN SO port accepts analog voice and other activity (fax, etc.).
Note-ISDN is not widely supported in the USA. It is intended for all other countries with large networks of ISDN-based service providers.

ISDN SO ports-1; Ethernet LAN ports-1; Ethernet WAN ports-1
Quadro 4x
The Quadro 4x ships with an initial 34 port capacity, four analog and up to 30 IP. It includes two USB ports to expand memory for directories and future applications via memory stick. It is possible to make up to 20 simultaneous calls on the IP lines alone and can be expanded to as many as 66 extensions by purchasing keys in 16-port increments.
Analog phones-4; IP phones-30; Additional IP phones with key-16ea. x 2=32; Total extensions-66
Trad phone ports (FXO)-2; Ethernet LAN ports-1; Ethernet WAN ports-1
Quadro 4xi
The Quadro 4xi replaces the two traditional telephone connections with a high-capacity ISDN SO port. The ISDN line accepts IP and analog traffic.

Quadro 4xi with Three ISDN Ports
The Quadro 4xi adds additional high-speed access ISDN ports, increasing analog and digital bandwidth for a hybrid solution for the medium size enterprise. In addition to small businesses, the Quadro4xi can be utilized by VoIP carriers. A special wizard facilitates the configuration of Quadros to perform according to each carrier's requirements.

Quadro 16x
The Quadro 16x offers a balanced approach with connections for up to 16 analog phones or devices and 18 local IP phones (expandable to 50 by purchasing software keys in 16-port increments).

Quadro 16xi
The Quadro 16xi delivers three high-bandwidth ISDN SO ports to serve as many as 16 analog phones or devices and as many as 50 IP phones and adapts for VoIP carriers. A special wizard facilitates the configuration of Quadros to perform according to the user's requirements.

VoIP Gateways
A VoIP gateway works as the name suggests: it converts the regular analog voice borne by the traditional telephone network into IP data packets for transmission on the Internet and vice versa. Epygi Gateways offer built-in auto-configuration, firewall and secure VPN support, call quality enhancements and even PBX functions like auto-attendant, voice mail and call statistics.
Quadro FXO
The Quadro FXO is a stand-alone SIP gateway device consisting of a VPN-router, firewall, HTTP server, and call processing software. It can be used stand-alone as well, without an IP PBX (as with IP Centrex for example). The six FXO lines can be assigned VoIP network DID numbers by an ITSP.

Quadro ISDN Gateway
The Quadro ISDN Gateway performs similarly to the FXO version but connects using ISDN ports. It includes four ISDN BRI connections for phones and analog devices that can connect to the telephone company's central office or to a local PBX. The Quadro ISDN can be used to add inbound lines, balance outbound call volumes from a combination of analog devices and IP phones. It is a stand-alone SIP gateway device that includes a VPN-router, firewall, HTTP server, and call processing software.

Quadro E1-T1
The Quadro E1/T1 connects to an traditional enterprise PBX or directly to a high capacity, usually fiber optic T1 (North America and Japan) or E1 (the rest of the world) from the PSTN telephone network. Its primary function is to bridge a portion of traffic of an incumbent proprietary PBX to the Internet. A Quadro E1/T1 comes equipped with one FXS port for connection of a standard analog telephone or fax machine. In addition, there is one software configurable E1/T1 voice port. Your voice and data traffic are routed through the WAN port to the Internet. An organization can make as many as 30 simultaneous SIP VoIP calls through a single Quadro E1/T1. The Quadro E1/T1 integrates PBX, security and traffic management functions and supports most signaling protocols including R2, CAS, and CCS (PRI).
Ports for analog phones or devices-1; Total simultaneous calls-30 (E1), 24 (T1)

QuadroM E1-T1
The QuadroM E1/T1 expands on the capabilities of its sibling, the Quadro E1/T1, doubling the concurrent call capacity for both E1 (world standard) and T1 (North America and Japan) connections. This newer model features 30 channels of compressed g.729 codec. The availability of metal rack-mountable housing permits the inclusion of a built-in power source and cooling fan for heavy duty operation and extended life span. Like the E1/T1, the QuadroM version includes call routing, call accounting and auto attendant capabilities, voice prioritization over data and sophisticated firewall and security elements. And like the E1/T1 the QuadroM functions primarily to bridge traditional PBX traffic to the Internet, reducing costs and simplifying system administration.
Ports for analog phones or devices-1; Single E1/T1 port-30 simultaneous calls (E1), 24 (T1); Optional Dual E1/T1 ports-60 simultaneous calls (E1), 48 (T1)

Epygi Conference Server
The Quadro CS facilitates voice conferences for as many as 30 participants. Users can network additional Quadro CS units for larger conferences, each adding 30 more connections, typically in geographic clusters. Platform independent, Quadro CS can call or receive calls from any phone, digital or analog (including mobile), IP or public switched network.
