[edit] Friendly advice
You suggested that help would be welcomed; well I noticed that you made a series of edits in rapid succession on your user page and on the article Addition of natural numbers/Proofs. I wonder if you are aware that the Show preview button gives you a glimpse of what your page edits will look like before you submit them? In main article pages it is somewhat frowned upon to make lots of small edits in one place. Some people intent on vandalism use the technique of lots of small edits to disguise their 'work'... you really do not want to be tarred with that brush! --Geoff Riley (talk) 11:29, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Response
Absolutely and Thanks. I will use the show preview button more often in the future. I re-read the minor edit guideline and I was definitely using it incorrectly. I was afraid it would log me off and I would lose my changes in the editor if I took too long to finalize. Thanks. --Digitalr (talk) 17:17, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
If an article is flagged with multiple WikiProjects for attention, is it appropriate to remove the WikiProjects that may be solved by others or is it more preferential to have the articles under multiple projects with backlog e.g. Wikification and Context?
- Are you talking about cleanup templates? Those tags are there to direct the attention of users to certain shortcomings of the article. Once a specific issue has been resolved, the according template (also called "tag") may be removed. As long as the situation persists (e.g. lack of reliable sources, wikification etc), the template should stay. If you're not sure whether a certain issue has been sufficiently resolved, you could post a question to the article talk page, asking for further specification of what work remains to be done. |dorftrottel |humor me 17:49, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
{{helpme}} Everytime I click on "edit this page" on anything, I get a download index.php file, instead of the editor. However, editing sections seems okay. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Digitalr (talk • contribs) 20:06, 20 November 2007
