[edit] Re: Review

No, I haven't. I just reverted vandalism from India. Any of your information wasn't removed by me. Jacek Kendysz 12:57, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Sure, not at all. Your information must have been removed by someone else. Jacek Kendysz 10:24, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Certification

Hi Digitalfunda, added some comments to the CSTE-page. I wrote the ISTQB Certified Tester page. How about we change some ideas about both (dis-/advantages)? You knowing CSTE, me knowing ISTQB. I invite you to my forum. --Erkan Yilmaz 16:39, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Software Testing Certification

I deleted the certifications details [[1]] that you posted for two reasons, both listed in the change comment. They were incomplete, and I found portions at an external web site. I understand that the are widely accepted in the testing industry, but I do not believe that they are "industry standards" as fewer than 40% of testers world wide report to having any certification (see tha annual stickyminds/better software salary and industry review for further details). The only define software testing in India. I moderate a CSQA and a CSTE discussion group on Yahoo. I will be deleting the sections that are copyright violations. The thing that originally piqued my interest was that they pointed to Indian sub-sites, not the sites of the parent certifications (QAI and ISTQB). I suggest visits to http://www.softwaredioxide.com/Certifications/index.htm and http://rapidsqa.com/pages/353345/ for details on all of the certifications and give them equal shrift. --Walter Görlitz 17:01, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Copyright Hi Digitalfunda, about copy+paste -> also see my comment here please: Talk:ISTQB_Certified_Tester. --Erkan Yilmaz 15:15, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
about certification figures:
one survey from 2005 says: 24% have a certification -> please note that: 69% of the survey-participants come from USA
