Come and talk to me :-) — digitaleontalk @ 16:07, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Image:GameRanger.png

Hello, Digitaleon. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:GameRanger.png) was found at the following location: User:Digitaleon/Sandbox:GameRanger. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 05:03, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

  • I feel especially silly now (since I managed to remove everything else that would be an issue from the sandbox copy except, apparently, the logo... and it was only the very first image on the page!). Oh well. Ta for that though (yes, I know it's an automated bot). — digitaleontalk @ 05:49, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your help. Anyone can update the tallies when they are outdated (the arbitrators sometimes forget to do it when they vote; I and the other Arbitration Committee Clerks then try to keep things up-to-date, but this time you beat us). :) Regards, Newyorkbrad 03:36, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

You're welcome :-) — digitaleontalk @ 03:41, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Re: Request to Digitaleon for clarification (@ The way, the truth, and the light)

Hi,

This is just to let you know that I've responded to Tony Sidaways' request for clarification at the Badlydrawnjeff arbitration. Direct link: Request to Digitaleon for clarification.

I thought I should let you know, due the number of discussions now occurring on the page, so I hope you won't take this as me trying to be pretentious; I'm not :-). All comments, whether on the page or to my talk page, are welcome. — digitaleontalk @ 06:18, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Your assistance appreciated :-) (@ Jeffrey.Kleykamp)

I apologise for not getting back to you earlier (been busy of late), but I wanted to thank you for your response to my query at VPA earlier in the month (re: "Actions on article Murder of James Bulger"). I subsequently discovered that the material in question had been added by several different editors on several different occasions (and each was subsequently reverted for the same reasons), and so no further action needed to be taken. All the best! — digitaleontalk @ 08:26, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Disputed copyright information for Valérie Quennessen image (@ Duke of Lilywhite)

Duke of Lilywhite,

This message is to notify you that I have tagged the following images with Wrong-license and listed them at WP:CP for 2007 December 17:

  • Valérie Quennessen as Princess Yasimina in CONAN THE BARBARIAN.jpg
  • Valérie Quennessen as Princess Yasimina in CONAN THE BARBARIAN2.jpg
  • Valérie Quennessen as Princess Yasimina in CONAN THE BARBARIAN3.jpg
  • Valérie Quennessen as Princess Yasimina in CONAN THE BARBARIAN4.jpg

I have done this as you tagged these images with PD-Self, however there is no substantiating information either on the image description pages or through a named OTRS ticket to corroborate this. When you receive this message, please check the image description pages in question, and either provide substantiating information to support the licenses given, or else update the licenses to reflect the correct status of the images.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message for me. Thanks! — digitaleontalk @ 07:55, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Addendum: These are also now listed at WP:PUI for 2007 December 17. — digitaleontalk @ 15:29, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Resolved: All of the above named images were deleted by User:Quadell as at 02:25, 18 December 2007. As stated above, if you have information to substantiate your copyright claim on these images, you can request a deletion review or re-upload the images with the substantiation provided. If not, you are welcome to re-upload the images with an appropriate Fair Use copyright tag and appropriate Fair Use rationale. Thanks! — digitaleontalk @ 02:49, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Thankyou re: Valérie Quennessen images (@ Quadell)

Quadell,

Thankyou for sorting out the situation with those images expediently :-) I've notified the uploader, article talk, WP:CP and WP:PUI of the deletion, and removed the inlines of these images from the article. Here's hoping those working on that article can re-upload one or two of them, this time with the right Copyright info. — digitaleontalk @ 03:11, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
