Thanks 9cds, mostly I've done minor updates, but I have created one stub article - Big Fat Joe - I don't want to be accused of vandalism, so I'm playing it safe! Still this site is fantastic, I like the fact anyone can edit, that's why I joined. One thing though, your user page says its been vandalised three times - maybe they should ban editing on user pages unless you're logged in as that user. Digifiend 09:15, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Helpful Henry
Thanks for your comments. Helpful Henry was certainly in the first issue of the Beano (July 30th, 1938) and also featured in the first Beano Book (1940).
To be honest, I don't know if his Dandy Monster Comic appearance was a one-off, or if he actually started out as a Dandy character but was transferred over to the Beano for the launch issue (by which time, the art for the 1939 Monster Comic would already have been prepared). [edit] Fred's Bed
A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Fred's Bed, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. greenrd 21:43, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Trevor Metcalfe
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Trevor Metcalfe, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Trevor Metcalfe seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Trevor Metcalfe, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] May 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Midnight (Doctor Who), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —TreasuryTag—t—c 14:43, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
The date I used was exactly 7 days after the previous episode, there's no way that was wrong. If any more get postponed this year, they should've started the series a month earlier, and I'll be complaining to the BBC. And why is the title of this message "May 2008"? That's not what I added. Digifiend (talk) 08:16, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as [[Talk:Last of the Time Lords]] are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. ╟─TreasuryTag (talk ╬ contribs)─╢ 09:40, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
I hope you also told that to the person whose comment (about the Medusa Cascade) I replied to! Anyway, point noted. Digifiend (talk) 09:47, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
