[edit] No Honorifics please

According to the Wikipedia style manual we should not be using honorifics such as The Honourable at the beginning of entries. Please see the section of the style book on honorifics. Thanks. Homey 06:49, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, I just read that. See my comments on the Talk:John Baird (Canadian politician) page. Digging.holes 06:50, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Electoral districts

Well, I don't know about any automated processes for making pages, but I wouldn't mind helping out. My French isn't the best however, so you'd have to watch my grammar and all :) Bonne chance! --curling rock Earl Andrew - talk 22:17, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Translations

Thanks for adding the translations to Knox College (Toronto) and the former Ewart College...now, how about a translation for The Presbyterian College, Montreal / Le Collège Presbytèrien? Bacl-presby 01:17, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

I might do it sometime. We're trying to get featured article status for fr:Université de Toronto, which is why we did a translation blitz for all the articles connected to it (colleges and whatnot). dh ▪ 22:57, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Translations

Sorry, but I don't speak French. I have, however, noticed the translations, and am flattered since the articles are largely my work. CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 17:02, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Stockwellburtday.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Stockwellburtday.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu badali (talk) 18:43, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
