[edit] Durability
Digipaks are more durable than jewel cases (jewel cases are prone to cracking), they are just less replacable.
[edit] Early adopters?
Perhaps should be in article: Who were among the very first bands/labels to use these? Did they start off small and local, or was a major label the first client? (i'll ask refdesk if noone knows/finds-out in the next few weeks.) -Quiddity 03:08, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Digicrap
I remember a few websites and newsgroup postings in the early- mid-90s that referred to Digipack packaging as "digicrap" because the cardboard gets worn out over time and then the album art looks like crap. --Jimj wpg 22:25, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Simon Le Bon
His article says he invented it but he doesn't seem to be mentioned on this page. Does anyone know If he did have a hand in making it.(Morcus (talk) 16:35, 12 June 2008 (UTC))
