Different Strokes: The Story of Jack and Jill...and Jill is a 1998 erotic film about a love triangle involving a young couple and another woman. It was directed by Michael Paul Girard and stars Dana Plato, Landon Hall, and Bentley Mitchum. It cast former child star Plato as a lesbian and garnering an X rating for sexual content. Plato came out as a lesbian shortly after the movie was released in the lesbian lifestyle magazine, Girlfriends, but later refuted the report, claiming she was only experimenting.
The movie's original working titles were Jack and Jill and Jack and Jill...and Jill, but the title was altered after the casting of Plato, supposedly to cash in on her role in the NBC sitcom, Diff'rent Strokes.
