I have removed the following, as it is pretty POV:

A major controversy is arising from his choice of his father as his representative. Both in Santos and in FC Porto, his father was hurting his son's game by publishing critical and controversial statements against the clubs and managers where Diego plays.

If sources can be found to back it up, please feel free to add the content again. Poulsen 11:45, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3 international goals?

I just watched the friendly match between England and Brazil on Friday, June 1st 2007. Diego scored in stoppage time to equalize and the final result turned out to be a draw. As the commentators repeated over and over, it was Diego's first international goal. I repeat: his very first goal for Brazil. So please, who ever wrote that he scored 3 goals for his national team has to change it. We want a clean Wikpedia. No more false information. Thanks for understanding.Shady1969.119.62.37 06:44, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

This sort of issue goes on al the time. One day if you are bored, look through various language pages of any footballer - Diego for example, has scored anywhere from 1 to 6 goals in anything from 13 to 33 appearances depending which language you choose. Don't bet your house on any information found in Wikipedia, at least until they introduce verification methods for information.--ClubOranje (talk) 11:29, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

He is not Kaka's brother that needs to be removed. Kaka's brother is called Digao not Diego and also plays for AC milan. He is younger than kaka and is taller so there is no way you can confuse him with Diego who is quite short and an attacker. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.11.210 (talk) 17:12, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
