Diego Costa (born April 22, 1974 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil) is a singer, songwriter, music producer and music entrepreneur. He was the bass player and lead vocalist of Carpe Diem, band signed to Polygram Music Brazil in the early 90's. Diego now lives in NYC and is involved in many projects to promote peace and raise consciousness through music. He's also the co-founder of CultureMachine, a youth-development program that uses songwriting and music production to inspire young people to become agents of change in their communities.
