After Real Oviedo bankruptcy, he integrated first team in September 2003 and played until summer 2006, he helped the club to promote to Segunda División B in summer 2005. He left in summer 2006, he became a cult hero to the fans, lots of fans were sad to see him go. After an unsuccessful trial with Oldham Athletic, manager John Sheridan thought that he was not good enough for the club, he signed with Union Deportiva Marbella in Segunda División B. In January, he came back to Asturias on loan to Tercera División club Lealtad where he played play-offs to promote to Segunda División B. He formed an incredible duo with Armando Quesada. At the end of the season, both players were transferred to Real Oviedo which was relegated to Tercera División.
